Holly Label, a Veteran-owned, GMI certified label printing company, is seeking a Packaging & Shipping Supervisor to join our lead production team. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills and the ability to maintain a sharp eye for detail while ensuring production flows continuously in a fast-paced, fluid environment. Base pay is shown. Starting rate is commensurate with experience.
What you'll do: The Packaging & Shipping Supervisor oversees the personnel in the packaging and shipping department, and reports to the President and Quality Assurance Manager. The P&S Supervisor assigns jobs to finishers to ensure efficient and timely inspection and packaging of products to be shipped either by common carrier or parcel service; provides leadership, mentoring and support to staff as needed. This position requires monitoring of the stock, tooling and reporting when appropriate supplies are to be ordered to continue smooth operation. Paperwork: The P&S Supervisor will be responsible for daily documentation preparation, completion and filing of all shipping paperwork; providing oversight and ensuring packaging of finished product and shipping requirements have been completed to clients' specifications and company policy have been achieved and recorded. The P&S Supervisor will research freight connections and maintain positive working relations with freight companies. The P&S Supervisor is required to ensure the department provides timely quality control and finishing procedures to custom label products in accordance with the company's QA system and client requirements and provide immediate mediation and corrective action for any issues that may occur in the department.
The Best Applicant: will have a combination of leadership or supervisory experience as well as history in packaging/ shipping, a proven track record of maintaining accuracy in detailed documentation, and strong communication skills with coworkers, management and other companies. Applicant must have driver's license, reliable transportation, and dependability. Applicant must be able to lift and carry weight up to 50 pounds.

Work Schedule: The Packaging & Shipping Supervisor position consists of a 5-day, 8hr/day schedule: Mon-Fri: 8am-4:30pm
