Holly Label, a Veteran-owned, GMI certified label printing company, is seeking an enthusiastic Press Operator Trainee to join our production team. As the Operator Trainee, you will learn all the skills necessary to take point in the production of our customers' unique orders. This is an entry level position where the employee will be assessed for advancement to the position of press operator after a six month introductory period.
What you'll do: The Flexographic Press Operator Trainee will train under the Press Operator in all aspects of preparation, such as bringing all job components to the press (inks and coatings, materials, printing plates and tooling), registration of each print job, and running the flexographic printing press machine. The Trainee will acquire the skills necessary to minimize raw material waste while meeting ISO9001-2015 and GMI quality standards. The Press Operator Trainee will learn how to assist in inventory reporting of raw materials, as well as reporting print job tracking. The Trainee will also be taught hands-on experience in all facets of maintaining and cleaning the press.
What we're looking for: The right applicant will be mechanically inclined with ability and willlingness to learn and retain new information. He or She will have a High school diploma or equivalent, be detail-oriented, dependable and have reliable transportation. Due to the parameters of this position, the Press Operator Trainee must have full color-vision spectrum in order to safely accomplish job duties.

Work week schedule: The Press Operator Trainee position maintains a 5-day, 8hr/day schedule: Mon-Fri, 8am-4:30pm.
