Location Description
Post Consumer Brands in Niagara Falls, Ontario is home to the Original Shredded Wheat cereal, first produced at this plant 117 years ago. Today, more than 150 team members work at the plant and support the local food bank and other community organizations. The Niagara Falls plant is just down the road from the iconic and expansive waterfalls of the same name. Check out this majestic natural wonder and the various activities nearby. Responsibilities
We are looking for an off-shift Supervisor to join our workforce supervising a new shift pattern sanitation crew. Note, this role works 3 days a week, for 32 combined hours.
Shift Pattern:
Thursdays 3pm - 11pm
Fridays 6pm - Saturdays 6am
Saturdays 6pm - Sundays 6am
Either directly, or through designated supervisory personnel, is responsible for the following:
Operates shift to attain required volumes.
Meet department efficiency goals for labour costs, raw materials yields, over weights and food quality by directing plant personnel with a strong personal on-floor presence.
Participates in a team based organization in a total quality environment, to work towards attaining our vision.
Achieve specific goals and objectives that are aligned with Post Foods Canada objectives.
Maintain harmonious relationship between shifts by effective communications and shift transfer meetings.
Administers the Collective Agreement.
Adheres to government regulations, corporate policies and plant procedures, and ensures a safe operational environment.
Achieves safety objectives by promoting and maintaining a safety oriented culture and works with other team members to maintain a healthy and safe work environment
Participates in plant safety programs to achieve safety objectives.
Maintains a high level of housekeeping standards by stressing careful adherence to all G.M.P. regulations.
Responsible for maintaining a safe work environment by supporting and enforcing the company health and safety program and the Ontario Occupational Health & Safety Act.

College Diploma (or equivalent)

Three years of supervisory experience is necessary
