Job Description: The CDL Driver I will perform duties associated with transporting non hazardous waste and materials between Reworld facilities and client sites. This role primarily involves operating a dump truck, with the possibility of operating other equipment such as straight trucks or additional equipment Drivers must maintain compliance with all applicable transportation, safety, and regulatory requirements while representing Reworld in a professional, customer facing capacity.
Primary Responsibilities: Safely operate commercial vehiclesprimarily dump trucksin accordance with all DOT regulations, safety procedures, and company policies. Operate vehicle mounted and auxiliary equipment to load, unload, or disperse materials when required. Perform thorough pre trip and post trip inspections of assigned vehicles and equipment.
Required Qualifications: Valid CDL A preferred, but will consider Class B drivers if they are a strong fit. Must be at least 21 years old per interstate commercial driving regulations. Acceptable driving record. Ability to interpret maps and follow written and verbal geographic directions.
Preferred Qualifications: High School Diploma or GED. Tanker or HazMat endorsement preferred but not required. Two or more years of commercial driving experience; prior dump truck or similar heavy vehicle experience strongly preferred.
