AmeriHealth Caritas Summer Intern (Undergraduate or Graduate, Finance, Management Information Systems, Data Analytics) in Newtown Square, Pennsylvania
AmeriHealth Caritas Family of Companies offers paid summer internships to students enrolled in full time undergraduate or graduate degree programs.
The AmeriHealth Caritas Summer Internship Program provides students with the opportunity to gain meaningful professional experience while learning about the healthcare industry and the work we do to improve access to care and support healthier communities.
Interns will work closely with a designated manager and mentor to contribute to real team initiatives and complete a defined project aligned with departmental priorities. Throughout the program, interns will collaborate with team members, develop professional skills, and gain exposure to the operations and strategy behind managed care, healthcare delivery, and community impact.
At the conclusion of the internship, interns may present their work and key learnings to leaders and peers.

Candidates should meet the following criteria:
Currently enrolled in a full-time undergraduate or graduate degree program
Completion of at least one year of college coursework by the start of the internship
Minimum 2.5 GPA on a 4.0 scale
Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
Ability to work onsite, 3 days per week

Business Management
Healthcare Management
Analytics
Finance
Liberal Arts, and related majors
This intern will partner with business leaders to define interventions that are expected to improve medical cost performance, including implementation costs and expected benefits. Collaborate with Enterprise Analytics colleagues to develop a "playbook" for integrating data and insights to present a unified view of medical cost performance that enables leaders to quickly pinpoint opportunities for improvement and potential interventions. Perform basic data analysis.
