This role involves erecting pre-engineered metal buildings,installing structural steel components,operating lift equipment,and working safely at heights on active construction sites. If you enjoy working outdoors,operating equipment,and being part of a tight-knit crew that builds impressive structures from the ground up,we want to hear from you.
Responsibilities
- Erect and install structural steel components for pre-engineered buildings
- Install wall panels,roof systems,trim,and insulation
- Bolt-up,align,and secure steel framing members
- Safely operate forklifts,manlifts,and scissor lifts
- Work at heights while following strict safety protocols
- Load,unload,and stage materials
- Maintain clean and organized job sites
- Collaborate with crew members and foremen to complete projects efficiently
Qualifications
Required
- Prior construction experience (any trade)
- Comfortable working at heights (no fear of heights)
- Willingness and ability to operate forklifts,manlifts,and scissor lifts
- Strong work ethic and reliability
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Physically capable of lifting 50+ lbs and performing manual labor
Preferred
- Previous steel erection or metal building experience
- Experience operating forklifts,manlifts,and/or scissor lifts
- Basic knowledge of construction drawings
- OSHA certification (not required,but a plus)
Pay
$18.00 $30.00 per hour
Schedule
Full Time | Monday Friday | 7:00 AM 5:00 PM
