Job Title: Maintenance Technician Job Description
Join our team as a Maintenance Technician, where you will be responsible for installing, assembling, and testing new machines and equipment. You will inspect machines for malfunctions and monitor performance to ensure optimal operation. Additionally, you will troubleshoot production machinery and perform routine preventative maintenance, adhering to workplace safety regulations.
Responsibilities
Install, assemble, and test new machines and equipment.
Inspect machines for malfunctions and monitor performance.
Perform troubleshooting for production machinery.
Schedule and perform routine preventative maintenance and service.
Comply with workplace safety regulations.
Communicate openly with supervisors and employees for smooth operations.
Perform emergency repairs on mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic machinery.
Identify and replace worn or damaged parts promptly.
Use a variety of power and hand tools to perform job functions.
Essential Skills
3-5 years of previous industrial maintenance experience.
Troubleshooting mechanical and electrical systems (110-460 voltage).
Ability to use a voltmeter.
Experience repairing hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
PLC troubleshooting skills.
Welding and fabrication skills.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Electrical troubleshooting experience.
Ability to troubleshoot PLC systems.
Ability to weld and fabricate.

Work Environment
Training will be provided from 7:00am-4:00pm, Monday to Friday for the first 90 days. After training, work hours will shift to a 7:00pm-7:00am, 223 rotation. The facility is non-climate controlled but maintains room temperature.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Newton, NC.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $30.00/hr.
