Bright Horizons Performance Marketing Intern in Newton, Massachusetts
About the Role
Bright Horizons is looking for a motivated intern to join our Performance Marketing team in support of College Coach, our college admissions advising service for families. This role is ideal for a current college student or recent graduate who is interested in marketing, communications, digital media, or a related field and wants hands-on experience with real campaigns.
You’ll help manage our organic social media channels and support email marketing efforts that engage current and prospective parents and promote College Coach services. You will work closely with both the Performance Marketing team and the College Coach team to build and maintain content and email calendars that align with business priorities.
This is a hybrid role based in Newton, MA.

What You’ll Do – Organic Social Media
Manage day-to-day posting on College Coach organic social channels
Create and schedule content that is helpful, engaging, and parent-focused
Work closely with the College Coach team to plan and maintain the social content calendar
Monitor comments and messages and flag trends or questions
Track basic performance metrics and share learnings with the team
What You’ll Do – Email Marketing
Support the creation and sending of marketing emails to current and prospective parents
Partner with the College Coach team to build and maintain the email marketing calendar
Help with email setup, proofreading, and quality checks
Assist with audience segmentation and list management
Review performance metrics (open rates, clicks) and help summarize results
General Marketing Support
Coordinate with teammates across Performance Marketing and College Coach
Help maintain calendars and campaign documentation
Support additional marketing projects as needed

Minimum Qualifications:
Currently enrolled in college
Interested in marketing, communications, digital media, or a related field
Preferred Qualifications:
Familiar with HubSpot or similar email marketing platforms (academic or hands-on experience is fine)
Strong written communication skills and attention to detail
Comfortable using social media platforms and basic analytics
Organized, dependable, and able to manage multiple tasks
Curious, proactive, and open to feedback

Compensation:
The hourly rate for this position is between $15.00-$30.00. The pay range listed here is what Bright Horizons in good faith anticipates offering for this job opening. Actual compensation offers within this range will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education and training, certifications, geography, and other relevant business or organizational factors.
