    The Newton Community School District is accepting applications for a Talented and Gifted Teacher for the 2026-2027 school year.

    Candidates must hold or be in the process of obtaining a current Iowa Teaching License in the following endorsements areas:

  • PK-12 Talented and Gifted Endorsement (1027) -Required

  • Valid Iowa teaching license (elementary or appropriate endorsement for assignment)- Required

  • Prior experience teaching elementary students - Preferred
