Job Title: Machine Operator
Job Description
This role is responsible for laying up and pressing panels to be used for interior and exterior aircraft parts. The position involves a range of duties essential to the production process.
Responsibilities
Verify and withdraw necessary materials.
Cut and kit materials for production.
Lay up materials accurately and efficiently.
Load and unload the press as required.
Operate the press safely and effectively.
Use the saw for precise cutting operations.
Trim panels using CNC machinery.
Complete production paperwork diligently.
Actively participate in operational improvement activities.
Cross-train or transfer to other departments as needed.
Perform other tasks as necessary, demonstrating flexibility.
Essential Skills
Proficiency in general labor tasks and the use of hand and power tools.
Experience in production and manufacturing environments.
Skilled in machine operating, inspection, and assembly.
Forklift operation experience.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Ability to adapt to various tasks and departments as needed.
Strong attention to detail in documentation and process improvement.

This is a Contract position based out of Newport, WA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $21.25 - $21.25/hr.
