What you'll be doing: The individual selected for this position will be responsible for managing all aspects of fleet maintenance performed by our Fleet Maintenance Team Members. Other responsibilities will include Preventative maintenance schedules, parts purchasing, inventory control, work assignments, schedules, hiring, training, OSHA safety, DOT compliance, budgeting, cost control and vendor relations.
What you bring with you (qualifications): Preferred candidates should have 6 years experience with the following skills/knowledge/abilities:
Experience performing Preventative Maintenance and Repairs on; (Class 8) Heavy Duty Diesel Trucks and Switchers.
Experience performing Preventative Maintenance and Repairs on; Up To 53’ Dry Van and Refrigerated Unit trailers.
Experience performing Preventative Maintenance and Repairs on; Pool cars and Service vehicles.
Prior Management training and experience
Knowledge of cost control
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
Strong organizational skills
Computer skills, parts inventory control, preventative maintenance scheduling.
