Lafrance Hospitality is excited to share that we are looking for a Full-Time Hotel Sales Coordinator that assist the Director of Sales at the Holiday Inn Express, Middletown/ Newport location.
This is a great opportunity for a candidate who is looking to grow their career in sales. You will be provided with excellent mentorship directly from the Director of Sales to help expand and develop your sales & hotel knowledge.
The Hotel Sales Coordinator will assist the Director of Sales in all aspects of sourcing and servicing sales activity across all market segments, for the hotel.
Pay: $20.00 - $21.00 Per Hour
Responsibilities
Sell and coordinate bookings for all market segments
Maintains Sales System
Prepares contracts and proposals, receives payment
Types and files all correspondence for easy retrieval
Responds to telephone inquiries regarding hotel availability; quoting established group rates
Provides weekly report to necessary departments about upcoming scheduled events needs
Effectively communicates with all hotel departments on Event needs
Manages Wedding & Event Segment

Requirements
Minimum 1-2 years hotel front desk experience or sales experience preferred but not required
Excellent telephone communications skills
Ability to meet one-on-one with individuals, such as brides or meeting room contact
Strong organization skills and effective time management skills
