Job Title: Maintenance Mechanic Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Mechanic responsible for all electrical repair and maintenance of process and building equipment, including pumps, temperature controllers, and mechanical equipment. The role involves assisting in the completion, implementation, and management of the Preventative Maintenance Program, as well as performing preventative maintenance on all machines and building equipment.
Responsibilities
Conduct electrical repairs and maintenance on process and building equipment.
Assist in implementing and managing the Preventative Maintenance Program.
Perform preventative maintenance in accordance with the Preventative Maintenance Program.
Test and repair high and low voltage electrical and electronic circuits and systems.
Read, interpret, modify, and implement technical information from manufacturer’s technical manuals, electrical drawings, blueprints, P&IDs, and operating and maintenance procedures.
Comply with all company health, safety, and environmental procedures and policies.
Essential Skills
Strong electrical and troubleshooting skills.
Extensive knowledge of primary and secondary power systems, motors, switch gears, electrical panels, lighting systems, and general equipment maintenance.
Experience with electrical systems, including 3-phase motors, relays, PLCs, and HVAC systems.
Proficiency in using power tools and equipment.
Knowledge and experience with motor control.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience in hydraulics, pneumatics, preventative maintenance, blueprint reading, PLC troubleshooting, and industrial maintenance.
Skills in welding, mechanical HVAC, plumbing, and fabrication.
Flexibility with work hours including off shift and weekends as needed.

Work Environment
Work across six different buildings where you will need to have your own tools. A secure area is provided for tool storage. Be prepared for flexible hours and weekend work when necessary.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Newport Beach, CA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $36.00/hr.
