Description
We are looking for an experienced Accounting Specialist in Newbury, New Hampshire. In this long-term contract role, you will play a vital part in maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring the smooth operation of accounting processes. This position offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to a dynamic environment while applying your expertise in transactional accounting and reconciliation.
Responsibilities:
• Manage accounts payable processes, ensuring timely and accurate payments.
• Handle billing operations and oversee accounts receivable functions, including invoicing and tracking payments.
• Support payroll processing activities and perform related administrative tasks.
• Conduct thorough bank and account reconciliations to ensure financial accuracy.
• Maintain detailed and up-to-date financial records, assisting with daily accounting operations.
• Utilize advanced Microsoft Excel skills to create reports, track data, and manage financial information effectively.
Requirements • Proven experience in accounts payable and accounts receivable management.
• Strong skills in billing procedures and payment tracking.
• Proficiency in performing account and bank reconciliations.
• Solid understanding of general accounting principles and transactional processes.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including data analysis and reporting.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
