Job Summary
The Glass Finisher inspects, packs, labels, and prepares glass products for shipment while maintaining supplies and supporting smooth production in a physically active environment.
Key Responsibilities
Pick up glass, inspects and packs in proper container. Occasionally scribes and knocks out heel prior to packing.
Removes carton from track, positions in area and places pallet on cart.
Makes up cartons and bulk containers as necessary.
Replenishes supply of carton products as required,
Makes up stencils as required.
Stencils cartons or bulk load with proper identification.
Asides heels and cullet's to cullet hopper.
Assists others in resolving production difficulties to insure a smooth and efficient operation.
Performs other duties as required.
