Weekley Electric Generator Service Coordinator in Newark, Ohio

Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and highly organized Generator Service Coordinator to join our team! In this vital role, you will coordinate service requests, schedule and dispatch technicians, and ensure seamless communication between customers, field staff, and internal departments. Duties

  • Coordinate schedules for generator repair and maintenance services, ensuring timely and efficient execution.
  • Communicate effectively with customers to understand their needs and provide top-notch customer service.
  • Prioritize scheduling requests through multi-line phone systems and electronic communication platforms.
  • Dispatch technicians efficiently using various mapping tools to optimize routes and schedules.
  • Maintain accurate data entry in systems such as Jonas, Google Calendar, and Dispatch to track technicians and completion of service activities.
  • Coordinate with technicians and other team members for placing parts orders and status of warranty claims to ensure timely completion of services.
  • Communicate clearly with customers, technicians, and internal team members via phone, email and text to provide updates or resolve issues promptly.
  • Monitor schedules and technician activities using analytical skills to identify potential delays or disruptions and implement corrective action.
  • Support operations by managing documentation related to warranty claims and parts orders and shipments.

Experience

  • Prefer experience in dispatching within home standby generator system, HVAC or Electrical repair and maintenance or similar service environment.
  • Familiarity with mapping tools, GPS technology, and generator system services industry processes.
  • Strong analysis skills to interpret data from field service management systems.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to handle multi-line phone systems professionally.
  • Prefer general knowledge of home standby generator systems and residential electrical system operations.
  • Experience working with Jonas Management Software or similar enterprise resource planning (ERP) system is preferred.
  • Ability to perform data entry accurately while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting.
