Central Intake Coordinator Schedule: Full time, Monday through Friday, 8 am to 4 pm
A Day in the Life of a Central Intake Coordinator:
Coordinates the Agency referral process and maintains waiting lists and intake files.
Assures clear, timely, and relevant communication with families, individuals, and service providers regarding the Arc Wayne services and intake processes.
Establishes mechanisms to identify unserved or underserved individuals.
Functions as Agency liaison with school programs, community agencies, and professional organizations. Provides individual and group presentations for individuals, families, and other service providers regarding available services and supports.
Functions as agency representative for the Wayne County Partnership and attends all required meetings.
Develops, implements, coordinates, and evaluates Agency and Program Policy and Procedures in conjunction with the Vice President of Programs and Services.
Adheres to Agency and Program Policies and Procedures as stated within the personnel policies, HIPAA, and Corporate Compliance Policies and Procedures.
Develops and Coordinates a self-advocacy group at the Arc Wayne.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Who We Are Looking For:
Bachelor's degree in Human Services or related field and three years' experience working with people with Intellectual/Developmental Disabilities.
Other combinations of education and experience may be considered.
Excellent people, organizational and computer skills.
Must possess a current, valid New York State Driver's License that meets Agency Driver standards
