Posting SummaryRutgers, The State University of New Jersey is seeking a Research Assistant Data Analyst (Temporary Part-Time) for the School of Nursing. Among the key duties of this position are the following:- Assists in the design and implementation of research studies, including maintaining organized records of research activities and results.- Contacts potential study participants to recruit.- Meets patients at locations to enroll and train them to participate in the study.- Uses RedCap and Qualtrics for data collection.- Conducts literature reviews to gather relevant information and summarize findings.- Collects, analyzes, and interprets data using statistical software.- Prepares reports and presentations based on research findings.- Collaborates with team members and contribute to project discussions.- Supports administrative tasks related to research projects, including scheduling, budgeting, and grant applications.- Pulls reports to create patient registry in EPIC and chart review. Payroll Designation PeopleSoft Terms of Appointment Temporary Staff Appointment - Hourly QualificationsMinimum Education and Experience- Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Biostatistics, or a related field plus two years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience. Certifications/Licenses Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.- High proficiency in R data analysis software.- Experience with survey data, scoring instruments, creating surveys in RedCap and Qualtrics to collect data and export data.- Data visualization experience, making graphs and figures.- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.- Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Preferred Qualifications- Master's degree or 2nd year Master's program student in Statistics or Biostatistics.- Previous experience in a research setting.- Familiarity with qualitative and quantitative research methodologies.- Knowledge of specific research topics relevant to diabetes.
