Process Engineer(Newark, NJ) Full-TimeThe Process Engineer working with the NFC department is responsible to coordinate and performance loading and unloading operations, following global company standards of process and equipment’s clean/sterilization upon VESSEL and Tanker (truck) arrival. Prepare the NFC loading line to start loading/unloading activities. Maintain workflow by monitoring steps of the process. Support the microbiological lab to collect aseptic sample for NFC at the truck and on board of ships. Follow JPA (Juice Processor Association) guidelines to inspect and approve the tankers prior to loading. Perform cleaning/Sanitization of NFC tank farms (600,000 gal) following GPM, HACCP (*) and Food Safety procedures. Control Cleaning/Sterilization of the NFC system - Semi-automated operation - Siemens PLC to open/close valves. Control room operation, setting parameters to load the trucks automatically. Control spare parts inventory and generate purchase order. Manage documentation related to shipments and US Customs. Analysis data reports to investigate issues and make recommendations to corrections. Participate in projects to improve process and operations. Basic knowledge of automated/non-automated valves and instruments on process. It is applications, troubleshooting and correct actions. Up-dating daily data forms, such as, tank farm temperature, filters cleaning, process cleaning/Sterilization. In case of any issue, finding the root cause and taking action to correct it. $86,996.04 per year. Bachelor of Science in Production Engineering, or Food Science or closely related, plus 12 months of experience in job offered or as Industrial Engineer, or Process Analyst, Process Analyst Trainee or closely related.
