Lead, Data Scientist (The Prudential Insurance Company of America, Newark, NJ): Develop machine learning and statistical models that drive significant business outcomes. Write production-level code for training, testing, and running extraordinary machine learning models. Perform meticulous statistical analysis of structured and unstructured data to identify relationships, test hypotheses, and build model features. Communicate clearly and concisely, in writing and verbally, all facets of model design and development. Continuously look for insights in models developed and generate new ideas for model improvement. Analyze and transform raw data for use in statistical analyses and model development and deployment. Perform exploratory data analysis. Contribute to the formulation of problem hypotheses. Leverage continuous integration and continuous deployment standard processes, including test automation and monitoring, to ensure successful deployment of ML models and application code. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure AI solutions are aligned with business goals and customer needs.Telecommuting permitted up to 3 days per week.Full time employment, Monday - Friday, 40 hours per week, $145,400.00 per year. Benefits incl. medical, dental, PTO & more.MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:Master’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics, or a related field, and 2 years of related work experience.Must have 2 years of experience in:•Programming Languages: Python, R, and SQL;•Data Wrangling: Preparing data for further analysis; Redefining and mapping raw data to generate insights; Processing of large datasets (structured, unstructured);•Statistics and Computing: Calculus, Multivariable Calculus, Linear Algebra, Differential Equations, Probability, Statistics, Applied Probability, Applied Statistics, Computer Science (Programming Methodologies), and Cloud;•Statistical techniques: Use of descriptive, inferential, Bayesian statistics, and time series analysis to extract business insights and experimentation to solve business problems.Telecommuting permitted up to 3 days per week.To Apply: Apply online at “https://bit.ly/4cPnNyT”.
