Job Title: Analytics Project Manager
Location: Newark, New Jersey (hybrid, on-site 3x per week)
Type: Contract
Compensation: $35.00 - $50.00 per hour
Responsibilities
Lead the execution and delivery of large-scale IT projects for utility clients, ensuring adherence to organizational goals and standards.
Manage project teams, including internal personnel, contractors, and vendors, providing proactive leadership and clear communication.
Create comprehensive project management plans, including scope, schedule, and budget, coordinating with cross-functional stakeholders to meet project objectives.
Monitor project progress, timelines, and deliverables, proactively identifying and addressing risks to ensure successful project completion.
Manage project financials, track actuals versus plans, prepare monthly forecasts, and report on project status using dashboards and status reports.
Coordinate with schedulers and teams to develop work breakdown structures and ensure requirements are documented, reviewed, and approved per standards.
Establish effective communication channels for project updates and stakeholder engagement.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Project Manager, with proven ability to manage analytics projects.
Experience handling project financials, schedules, scope, and testing.
Solid understanding of project management processes and procedures.
Excellent communication, presentation, and decision-making skills.
Proficiency with project management tools such as Microsoft Project, Primavera P6, or Smartsheet.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively while maintaining strong relationships and effective communication.
Strong analytical, evaluative, and problem-solving abilities.
Must be able to go into the office 3 days per week.
PMP Certification preferred
