Analytics Project Manager
Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Analytics Project Manager to support large, complex information technology initiatives within a utilities-focused technology environment. In this role, you will lead the planning, execution, and delivery of analytics and IT projects that support operational and business objectives. You will work closely with cross‑functional stakeholders, technical teams, and external partners to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget while maintaining high standards of quality and governance.
This role requires strong project management fundamentals, experience managing analytics‑driven initiatives, and the ability to lead multidisciplinary teams through the full project lifecycle.

Hybrid: Onsite 3 days per week
Candidate must be within commutable distance
Key Responsibilities
Lead and direct project teams, managing scope, schedule, cost, and overall delivery for assigned initiatives
Serve as the primary point of contact for project stakeholders and partner teams
Manage technical, financial, and scheduling aspects of complex projects
Provide proactive leadership to cross‑functional teams, including business stakeholders, subject matter experts, vendors, and technical resources
Oversee projects involving multiple vendors and a mix of onshore and offshore resources
Develop and maintain detailed project management plans in accordance with organizational and PMO standards
Track project milestones, deliverables, risks, and dependencies, ensuring alignment with business objectives
Facilitate governance reviews, status meetings, and executive‑level communications
Coordinate requirements gathering, documentation, review, and approvals
Partner with schedulers to develop work breakdown structures and project timelines
Manage project financials, including budgets, forecasts, accruals, and variance analysis
Produce clear, concise project reporting, including dashboards, weekly status updates, and leadership briefings
Monitor project execution to ensure quality, timely delivery, and adherence to established processes and standards
Requirements
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
Additional years of relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree
5+ years of experience as a Project Manager, with demonstrated delivery of large‑scale, complex initiatives
Proven experience managing analytics‑focused projects
Strong understanding of project financials, schedules, scope management, testing, and risk mitigation
Experience working within Project Management Office (PMO) processes and standards
Excellent customer‑facing, communication, and stakeholder management skills
Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team environment
Strong analytical, organizational, and decision‑making skills
Proficiency with project management tools such as Microsoft Project, Primavera P6, Smartsheet, or similar
Ability to maintain confidentiality and comply with data protection and governance requirements
Preferred Qualifications
PMP or equivalent project management certification
Prior experience leading projects within utility or infrastructure‑based environments
