As an Associate in the Risk Management and Compliance Chief Data Office, you play a key role in supporting our data governance journey. You work closely with global teams and stakeholders to implement effective data risk management processes. You help us meet regulatory requirements and drive value for our Risk Management and Compliance function. Together, we simplify complex data challenges and deliver solutions that keep our organization strong.
Job Responsibilities
Support the implementation of data risk management objectives for the Risk Management and Compliance team
Assist with data classification, usage, protection, storage, metadata, lineage, and quality initiatives
Organize and simplify complex data requirements into actionable steps
Contribute to governance and oversight processes to ensure compliance
Communicate regularly with stakeholders across global teams
Analyze business goals and requirements to assess options and risks
Develop and implement effective data governance solutions
Ensure adherence to firmwide data management policies and standards
Collaborate with colleagues to achieve team and organizational goals
Maintain accurate documentation of data governance activities
Identify opportunities to improve data management practices
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills
Bachelor's degree
Minimum three years of experience in data management or data governance
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
Clear written and verbal communication skills
Ability to organize and manage multiple tasks
Experience supporting data governance or risk management initiatives
Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
Willingness to learn new concepts and adapt quickly
Proficiency in documenting processes and requirements
Ability to communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders
Commitment to maintaining high standards of data quality and compliance
Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills
Advisory or consulting experience in risk, finance, data, or technology
Experience with data risk management or risk management in market, credit, principal, country, or model risks
Hands-on experience with relational databases and SQL
Familiarity with business intelligence and data visualization tools such as QlikView, Alteryx, or Tableau and Interest and/or knowledge in AI, LLM and Agentic tools
Experience with data classification and quality improvement initiatives
Ability to simplify complex technical concepts for non-technical audiences
Proactive approach to identifying and solving data management challenges
