JPMorgan Chase Project Manager II - Chief Data Office in Newark, Delaware
As a Strategic Execution Project Manager within the Commercial & Investment Bank (CIB) Chief Data and Analytics Office (CDAO), you will play a significant role in advancing business priorities and delivering essential capabilities to a diverse range of stakeholders across the CIB. You will coordinate and execute regulatory driven projects and Programs, provide business support. Building strong relationships with partners, stakeholders, and senior management is crucial. You will collaborate closely with leaders across Business Controls, Technology, Operations, Firmwide partners and Business Management to ensure successful project outcomes. Your ability to foster these relationships will be key to driving the success of our initiatives.
The CDAO is a business-centric organization dedicated to providing high-quality, compliant data to our internal clients, enabling them to unlock its full potential. The Strategic Execution team is responsible for ensuring consistency and standardization across the global CDO, offering comprehensive project management, and reporting capabilities for the entire CDO portfolio.
Job responsibilities:
Collaborate with Project Lead(s) to define project scope, objectives, and key milestones, ensuring alignment with business goals
Develop and manage comprehensive project plans using both Agile methodologies and traditional project lifecycle frameworks
Coordinate with stakeholders across various teams and lines of business (LOBs) to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meet defined scope
Identify, diagnose, and facilitate the resolution of key issues and risks, proactively mitigating potential impacts on project success
Maintain up-to-date project status reports, evaluate project progress and quality, and report risks and issues, escalating them when necessary
Ensure operational and business change readiness by supporting the definition and documentation of new and enhanced operating models to implement strategic business priorities
Assist in resource allocation and management to optimize project efficiency and effectiveness
Support the development and delivery of project communications to keep all stakeholders informed and engaged
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities to enhance project management processes and methodologies
Coordinate CDO training program (intake, prioritization, scheduling, tracking) with a clear roadmap, status reporting to stakeholders
Orchestrate development and deployment (course build/assign, communications, stakeholder readiness) along with partnering with HR Learning and Firmwide on training plans
Leverage HR learning platforms to build, configure, publish, and report on training content
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
3+ years of experience in project management, financial services, and/or strategy
Effective communicator with excellent visualization, written, and verbal communication skills, including advanced skills on MS PowerPoint
Ability to coordinate, prioritize, and drive multiple concurrent tasks to completion and adjust according to the changing demands
Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to solving business problems and challenges
Ability to work both independently and in collaboration with colleagues, often under tight business-driven deadlines
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills:
Experience in data management and/or data governance, regulatory initiative
Proficiency with planning and tracking tools such as Monday.com, MS Project, Jira, and Confluence
Data-driven mindset with strong analytical skills and the ability to communicate impact using data
Ability to think laterally and convey an understanding of the big picture
