Join Our Team as an RF Electronics Technician at Teledyne ETM!

At Teledyne ETM, we design and build advanced high-voltage and high-power electronic subsystems that support communications, radar/EW, test and measurement, medical, and security applications around the world. Our products operate in demanding environments—and our people thrive there too.

What’s the role?

As an RF Electronics Technician , you’ll play a hands-on role in testing, troubleshooting, and repairing high-power RF and high-voltage electronic systems. You’ll work closely with engineers and technicians to diagnose complex technical issues, support production schedules, and ensure our products meet strict performance and quality standards.

What You’ll Do

  • Test high-power RF amplifiers and other high-voltage/high-power devices

  • Perform system-level testing, troubleshooting, and repair of electronic systems and sub-assemblies

  • Analyze and repair electronic hardware using electrical schematics and documentation

  • Troubleshoot technical issues in coordination with engineering staff

  • Manage your workload to support multiple testing and production schedules

  • Cross-train with Power Supply technicians to expand technical capabilities

What You’ll Need

  • Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree in Electronics or Electrical Engineering or 3–5 years of relevant technician experience

  • Ability to identify RF components, including their operation and limitations

  • Proficiency with spectrum analyzers, vector network analyzers, multi-meters, oscilloscopes, pulse generators, variacs, and high-voltage power supplies

  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills for high-power and high-voltage systems

  • Comfort using Microsoft Word and Excel

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English

  • Detail-oriented, self-directed, and eager to learn new skills

  • U.S. citizenship or permanent residency or eligibility to obtain required export control licenses

Preferred Experience

  • High-voltage testing experience

  • Understanding of CW and pulsed RF systems

  • Experience with both solid-state and TWT-based systems

  • Familiarity with AGILE or a similar document management system

  • Strong critical-thinking skills

Salary Range:

$44,500.00-$59,300.000
