The Data & Analytics (D&A) team within Global Operations & Technology Engineering builds enterprise data platforms, pipelines, and analytics solutions that power NBCUniversal’s television, streaming, film, and parks businesses.
We’re looking for a Technical Project Manager to lead the delivery of data and analytics initiatives across our portfolio. In this role, you’ll partner closely with engineering, product, and business stakeholders to ensure complex, data-driven projects are delivered on time and drive meaningful business value.
What You’ll Do
Own end-to-end delivery of multiple data and analytics projects, managing scope, schedule, budget, risks, and dependencies
Partner with engineering, product, and business stakeholders to define requirements and translate them into clear, executable project plans
Drive delivery using Agile/Scrum methodologies, tracking progress in Jira and facilitating project rituals
Ensure solutions are technically sound, scalable, and aligned with modern cloud and data architecture best practices
Track and report on project performance, milestones, and risks, providing clear updates to senior leaders
Analyze data across multiple sources to support planning, prioritization, and budget alignment
Identify process gaps and implement improvements to increase delivery efficiency and reduce operational friction
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Mathematics, Economics, or a related field
3+ years of experience managing complex technical projects, preferably within data, analytics, or platform engineering environments
Hands-on experience managing project timelines, budgets, and cross-functional dependencies
Strong ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear communication for both technical teams and executive stakeholders
Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments; proficiency with Jira
Working knowledge of cloud-native architectures and common data & analytics patterns
Proficiency with Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, and SharePoint
Familiarity with Business Intelligence tools such as Tableau or Power BI, and comfort working with datasets
Experience troubleshooting with SQL, as needed (basic joins)
Preferred Qualifications
Prior experience in a hands-on technical role (e.g., TPM, data engineer, analytics engineer, analyst, engineering manager)
Experience managing vendor relationships and third-party technology partners
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with comfort operating in ambiguous environments

Salary range: $75,000 - $110,000
