Seward and Kissel LLP Systems and Financial Analysis Administrator in NEW YORK, New York

Recommend and develop initiatives for the continuity, integrity of financial data, and safeguards and controls of firms financial and accounting systems. Apply business operations management concepts to enhance financial system functionality and optimize user experience. Support and guide financial system conversion from SAP to Elite 3E. Ascertain various departments business needs and requirements related to the financial systems. Monitor system processes, performance and data feeds to ensure accurate and timely data uploads and financial reporting. Assess the information technology systems backing the implementation, including application servers, databases, integration points, data interfaces, transmissions, reporting, back-end scripting, performance/stability, and system security. Maintain the connectivity of the core financial system with related applications, including ADP Interface, Sage-Fixed Assets, Chrome River, IntApp, and more. Evaluate and audit the Firms accounting functions to ensure synergy with new accounting and financial system. Prepare manuals and train workers on financial systems and processes. Requirements: Masters Degree in Business Administration, Financial Management, or Accounting plus 3 years of experience in position offered or a Financial Transformation Consultant.* *All required experience must have included leading the analysis, design, development, implementation and support of financial and accounting system process improvements, including for time entry, billing, accounts payable, accounts receivable, collections, general ledger, budgeting, forecasting, reporting, month, and year-end closings; identifying inefficiencies and implementing related process improvements; leading financial system conversion for a U.S.-based law firm; implementing BI tools such as SAP Analytics Cloud, BOBJ, Power BI, or Tableau for finance; writing queries and working with SQL and database schema; handling month-end and year-end balancing and closure of accounting system and the preparation, maintenance and distribution of related reports; and evaluating and auditing security and user access to financial and accounting system and monitoring system processes, performance and data feeds.
