Job Summary:
Under the supervision of the Sr. Technical Manager, Retirement Services, the Supervisor, Pension Implementation Team is responsible for overseeing the implementation of new and enhanced technology solutions supporting Retirement Services. This role supervises the Pension System Analysts and Jr. Pension Implementation Analysts, ensuring successful delivery of system implementations, data conversions, testing, and post-implementation support. The Supervisor, Pension Implementation Team will combine technical expertise, project management, and team leadership to ensure high-quality execution of customer service-based implementation initiatives, while maintaining alignment with business requirements and operational goals.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Supervise, mentor, and train the Pension Implementation Analysts and Jr. Pension Implementation Analysts
Oversee implementation of new and upgraded technology solutions, including pension administration systems, customer service-based applications such as web portals and CRM applications
Oversee development of functional business requirements for pension plan implementations and system enhancements
Review and validate data conversion requirements and test plans for implementation of pension plans and/or plan mergers
Direct all pension related system testing efforts including UAT and quality assurance
Oversee creation of user manuals and documentation for administrative and system processes
Assign and prioritize work across team members to ensure timely delivery
Manage timelines, risks, and dependencies across multiple initiatives
Lead training efforts for ongoing pension administration teams
Communicate project status, risks, and outcomes to leadership
Support transition of implementations to the ongoing administration team
Special projects, as assigned by management
Qualifications (Competencies):
5+ years of supervisory experience in customer service-based systems implementation and/or project management, preferably in the field of benefits administration
Knowledge of pension calculations and validation of data elements preferred
High level of proficiency in Microsoft Office programs including Word and Excel
Experience with Vitech products, QlikView, Power BI, and Dynamics preferred
Strong project management skills
Strong analytical, problem solving and decision-making skills
Excellent business writing skills

Ability to multi-task and prioritize work, and work effectively under tight deadlines

Education:
Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science, Mathematics or related field.
Language Skills:
Strong verbal and written English skills required. Spanish skills preferred.
