The intern will work on strategic projects across focus areas and agencies. The project will include independent work to automate and standardize processes related to bill tracking, hearing summarization, template building, and policy assessment. They will assist with the development and optimization of multiple trackers for policy developments and elected responses, to inform budget and management operations as they relate to legislative issues, as administrative priorities are progressed.

The intern may also conduct one-off research projects on specific legislative, budget, and policy issues. The intern may be asked to work on multiple projects at once and has the opportunity to creatively identify areas of work and in-depth research that would benefit the Unit’s rapid and high-quality response to emerging issues.
