Meta Strategic Planning and Operations Manager, Business Marketing in New York, New York

Summary:

The Marketing Strategic Planning and Operations team is seeking an experienced, strategic professional to support the Business Marketing Group (BMG). In this role, you will manage complex strategy projects and drive operational programs and rhythms of business for executive leaders across Meta's business marketing organization. We are looking for a leader who excels at taking on complex, cross-functional initiatives, drives efficiency, and champions the integration of AI to transform marketing processes and business impact. This highly cross-functional role demands analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills to effectively manage a broad set of stakeholders across marketing, sales, and product functions.

Required Skills:

Strategic Planning and Operations Manager, Business Marketing Responsibilities:

  1. Identify, structure, and solve complex business marketing problems, using data to inform recommendations and distill actionable insights for executive audiences

  2. Lead the identification, piloting, and scaling of AI-integrated workflows within BMG, measuring impact on marketing productivity and operational improvement

  3. Define, implement, and continuously refine organizational operations and rhythms of business for BMG, including planning cycles, goal tracking, and leadership reviews

  4. Drive annual strategy planning processes and work with executive leadership to define, communicate, and track organizational-level goals aligned to business marketing priorities

  5. Proactively identify misalignments across marketing programs, resolve roadblocks, escalate critical issues, and ensure marketing teams are set up for successful execution

  6. Communicate proactively across all organizational levels to ensure transparency, alignment, and effective change management as business marketing strategies evolve

  7. Support BMG leaders by synthesizing insights on team resourcing, headcount, and investment allocation to inform business decisions

  8. Partner with cross-functional teams including Analytics, Product, Sales, Sales Strategy and Operations, Insights, Communications, and HR to enable informed planning and resource allocation

  9. Contribute to setting team-level goals and advise cross-functional partners on complex matters within the business marketing domain

  10. Analyze the impact of business changes on marketing operations and implement necessary risk mitigation measures to protect program delivery

Minimum Qualifications:

  1. 6+ years of experience in strategy, operations, or marketing program management

  2. Experience managing complex, cross-functional initiatives from planning through execution, including simultaneous management of multiple high-priority projects

  3. Experience performing structured analysis and developing data-informed recommendations for executive stakeholders

  4. Experience collaborating with and influencing diverse stakeholders within matrixed organizations, including communicating complex concepts clearly across all organizational levels

  5. Experience contributing to organizational planning processes such as goal-setting, headcount planning, or operational rhythm design

  2. Prior experience in management consulting, in-house marketing strategy, or business operations supporting a marketing organization

  3. Demonstrated ability to integrate AI tools to redesign marketing or operational workflows and deliver measurable efficiency or quality improvements

  4. Demonstrated ongoing AI skill development (e.g., prompt/context engineering, agent orchestration) and staying current with emerging AI technologies

  5. Experience adhering to and implementing responsible, ethical AI practices (e.g., risk assessment, bias mitigation, quality and accuracy reviews)

  6. Familiarity with B2B marketing, digital advertising platforms, or Meta's advertising products and go-to-market approach

Public Compensation:

$124,000/year to $178,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits
