Within DTC, the Technical Partner Growth team plays a critical role in driving long-term growth through strategic partnerships. The team is responsible for ongoing partner management, performance assessments, and the evaluation of growth opportunities across new and existing partners spanning Global Distribution, Regional Distribution and Wholesale, Promotions, and Synergy.
This team takes a holistic, data-driven approach to partnerships and works cross-functionally with Product, Technology, Distribution, Marketing, Finance, Legal, and Regional Business teams to help DTC businesses achieve key financial and performance objectives.
What You Will Do
The Technical Partner Growth team is seeking a Sr. Technical Business Development Manager, Partner Growth to lead strategic performance assessments and identify growth opportunities across Domestic B2B2C Wholesale partnerships (e.g., Charter, Verizon). While the role is primarily focused on wholesale partners, it will also support cross-partner performance evaluations and growth initiatives across other partner types, including global device partners (e.g., Roku, Amazon, Samsung).
In this role, you will use data, insights, and financial modeling to evaluate opportunities to drive subscriber growth, engagement, and retention. You will own and lead analyses from inception through final recommendations, and partner cross-functionally to ensure those recommendations are effectively socialized, actioned, and executed. This position requires strong critical thinking, advanced analytical skills, and the ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable business insights, with equal emphasis on driving those insights through to implementation and measurable impact in an ambiguous, fast-paced environment.
Reporting to the Director, Technical Partner Growth , this role requires a strong understanding of the Pay TV, Telco, and Wireless landscape , experience with wholesale and bundled SVOD partnerships, and the ability to communicate financial and performance insights effectively at the executive level.
Responsibilities
Own end-to-end strategic evaluations of Domestic Wholesale B2B2C partnerships (new and existing), identifying opportunities to improve subscriber activation, engagement, and retention
Evaluate the effectiveness and ROI of growth initiatives and deliver data-driven recommendations to accelerate partner performance
Represent the DTC perspective in cross-functional leadership discussions and executive-level partner forums
Lead regular performance reporting for Domestic B2B2C wholesale partnerships, including executive-level presentations and insights
Own and facilitate cross-functional forums with Technology Account Management (TAM), Platform Distribution, Finance, Marketing, Product, and other stakeholders
Partner closely with the data organization to understand methodologies, contribute to roadmap planning, and co-lead automation of recurring reporting
Build, maintain, and evolve financial models related to partner opportunities, including new partners, new business models, and renewals
Support cross-partner strategic initiatives and opportunity analyses across Domestic B2B2C, International Wholesale, and Global Device partners
Required Qualifications & Skills
7+ years of experience in Business Development, Corporate Development, Finance, Strategy, or Partner Growth
Advanced financial modeling and data analysis skills
Proficiency with reporting and visualization tools such as Tableau and Looker
Strong ability to translate complex data and financial models into clear, executive-ready narratives
Experience leading cross-functional working groups and strategic analyses
Proven ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
Self-motivated and capable of working independently with minimal day-to-day supervision
Experience leveraging AI and automation tools to streamline analysis and reporting
Strong curiosity and analytical mindset, with the ability to identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities across partners, regions, and products
Advanced knowledge of Distribution Partner Operating Systems
Preferred Qualifications
Media, entertainment, or streaming industry experience
Knowledge of subscription-based business models
Experience working cross-regionally and across time zones
Telco, Pay TV, or Wireless industry experience
Required Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or equivalent experience in product, media, video streaming, or a related technical field
Additional Information
This role can be based in New York , Los Angeles (Glendale or Santa Monica) , or San Francisco
Hybrid work model with onsite presence Monday–Thursday and remote work on Fridays
The hiring range for this position in Glendale and Santa Monica, California is $129,300.00 - $173,300.00 per year. The hiring range for this position in San Francisco, CA is $141,600.00 - $189,800.00 per year. The hiring range for this position in New York, New York is $135,400.00 - $181,600.00 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
