ConEdison Sr Electrical Engineer - CENG, Facilities Engineering in New York, New York
Required Education/Experience
Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering and eight years of experience in engineering design and application within assigned areas of expertise, or
Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering and six years of experience in engineering design and application within assigned areas of expertise.

- Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering and six years of experience in engineering design and application within assigned areas of expertise.
Relevant Work Experience
Demonstrated motivation, initiative, and strong leadership capabilities, required.
Proficient in the NEC, New York State, and New York City Building Codes, with the ability to perform equipment sizing and detailed electrical calculations, including short circuit, breaker coordination, voltage drop, cable and conduit sizing, and lighting analyses, required.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and shifting priorities, supported by a proven record of successful project support, required.
Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders at all organizational levels, required.
Ability to perform required calculations and select electrical equipment in support of Capital and Operations & Maintenance project designs, required.

Licenses and Certifications
Driver's License Required
Professional Engineer (PE) Preferred

Stand to use/operate office equipment for the duration of the workday
Ability to read small print and symbols
Additional Physical Demands
- The selected candidate will be assigned a System Emergency Assignment (i.e., an emergency response role) and will be expected to work non-business hours during emergencies, which may include nights, weekends, and holidays.
