Description
The Estee Lauder Companies (“ELC”) Global Legal Marketing & Regulatory Group provides legal guidance to ELC and its brands in support of all marketing and advertising communications relating to product benefits and sustainability, as well as sometimes providing guidance on legal regulatory issues. The Senior Legal Marketing Analyst works with the Global Legal Marketing Attorneys to review, advise on, and approve marketing assets including product performance and sustainability claims, to help unsure all advertising claims are truthful and non-misleading.
Specifically:
Reviews specific categories of marketing materials, including social and digital assets (to determine if they are consistent with previously legally approved performance and sustainability claims)
Collaborates with Group’s Attorneys to review and understand the support and basis for approved claims.
Demonstrates sound judgement and creative and agile thinking to identify when differences between previously approved assets and newly created assets are significant and require escalation to Group’s Attorneys and cross-functional brand team
Directly Communicates with Brand & Business: Communicate to give feedback and approvals.
Assists Attorneys with data analysis and report development
Possesses strong written and verbal communication to present information to Attorney and Brand partners logically and concisely
Maintains and provides feedback to the Legal Marketing & Regulatory Group on improvements to processes and systems, including organization of data, for completeness and efficiency of use
Understands claim substantiation for cosmetic product benefit and sustainability claims, with strong desire to continue learning
Qualifications
Required Experience and Skills:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
Strong commitment to integrity, ethical business conduct, and compliance with the law. Interest in Marketing and Regulatory issues as well as environmental and social corporate governance
Exercises good judgment, and is highly organized, process-driven, detail-oriented, responsible and conscientious
Creative thinker with prior work experience in marketing, regulatory, claim substantiation, or sustainability
Collaborative and inquisitive, creatively works to identify and solve problems
Strong written and oral communication skills
Ability to handle multiple priorities and deadlines and confidential matters in a highly discrete and sensitive manner. Good time and resource management skills
Friendly and professional with an ability to interface with executive and non-executive colleagues across the globe. Possesses a high level of social and emotional intelligence to motivate and champion stakeholders on the adoption of necessary changes.
Highly resourceful, self-starter, driven, desire for continuous learning and professional development
Enjoys working both independently and as a team
IT savvy and highly proficient in Microsoft Office 365, PowerPoint, and Excel. Familiarity with A.I., learning management systems, and the ability to quickly learn new technology/tools.
Desired Experience and Skills:

Pay Range:
The anticipated base salary range for this position is $73,150.00 to $109,200.00 . Exact salary depends on several factors such as experience, skills, education, and budget. Salary range may vary based on geographic location. In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for participation in a highly competitive bonus program with the possibility for overachievement based on performance and company results.
