Consolidated Edison Company of New York, Inc. Sr. Analyst, Customer Operations Arrears Command Center in NEW YORK, New York

Overview The Sr. Analyst will play an integral role in the Arrears Command Center credit team by synthesizing and preparing transactional customer data for departmental leadership in support of data driven strategic evaluation. The role includes performing in-depth analysis around credit and collections activities and identifying operational efficiency improvements as well as cost reduction opportunities relative to the Command Center business sub-units. The Sr. Analyst will design, develop, implement, and leverage various database systems to provide the Command Center leads and the broader department the required analytics and recommendations vital to managing customer arrearages and the credit and collections portfolio.Responsibilities Core ResponsibilitiesIdentify and analyze business process improvements and develop supporting process documentation.Provide analyses of key business processes and develop best practices recommendations.Prepare various ad-hoc reports and presentations for senior management.Respond to data requests and prepares statistical analysis reports for management as required.Research and benchmark industry trends pertaining to Credit and Collections.Query Oracle, SQL, Cloud, and OpenData databases and APIs to perform data analyses.Develop operational and management reports using Power BI.Perform other related tasks and assignments as required.Collects, maintains and analyzes data necessary for the work specific to the group's needs.Explores and implements new methods for analyzing data.Qualifications Required Education/ExperienceBachelor's Degree and 3+ years of related experienceRelevant Work ExperienceExpert level skills in SQL, and PowerBI, required.Demonstrated time management and organizational skills, required.Strong analytical skills particularly in analyzing the complexity of trends and processes, required.Must have ability to interact with various levels of senior management, required.Project Management Skills, preferred.Licenses and CertificationsDriver's License RequiredAdditional Physical DemandsMust be able to respond to Company emergencies by performing a System Emergency Assignment to restore service to our customers.Must be able and willing to travel within Company service territory, as needed.
