What you can expect in this role As a Spectrum intern, you'll spend the summer working alongside two teams - your respective department and your intern peer group. Department and team-focused projects account for about 80% of your schedule. You'll spend the other 20% on professional development sessions and networking activities, including the Kickoff Conference on May 27th, webinars, community service, cross-functional projects, and final presentations. Internship responsibilities may include Put your writing, storytelling, and internal communications skills to work supporting corporate communications initiatives in New York City. This summer internship offers the opportunity to work alongside internal communications professionals to help inform, engage, and inspire employees. Interns contribute to meaningful projects, assist with internal messaging, and gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced corporate environment. * Draft and edit internal newsletters, company websites, interviews, and more * Produce internal events, such as town halls and product demos * Support internal communications campaigns and employee engagement initiatives * Research, pitch, and develop stories that highlight employee achievements, culture, and company initiatives * Contribute to 1-3 key communications projects, including research on best practices, over the course of the internshipYou'll gain hands-on experience in corporate and internal communications, mentorship from communications professionals, and the opportunity to contribute to real communications initiatives that reach employees across the organization. Required qualifications * Must be currently enrolled in an accredited College or University completing a bachelor's degree * Must have at least a 3.0 GPA or greater in current program * Ability to travel locally to Spectrum intern development events and activities throughout the program * Authorization to work in the U.S. without restrictions or need for future sponsorship Preferred qualifications * Strong writing, editing, and storytelling abilities * Highly organized and detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple projects * Comfortable working collaboratively in a team environment#LI-WP1 #LI-WP1 GGN100 2026-70024 2026 Here, our employees don't just have jobs, they're building careers.
