Description
My client is a rapidly growing Construction Management and General Contractor. They have been 1x their revenues for the past several years and forecast to be billion in revenue by 2027. They have many prestigious NYC area projects they are working on.
The Director of Project accounting is looking to add 2x net new Project Accountants to their NYC team. They are looking for 1x Sn. Project Accountant and 1x Project Accountant.
As always, these are permanent, full time, fully benefited salaried positions (these are NOT temp, or temp to perm).
They are located in Midtown, and in the office 4 days a week, 1x day remote.
Compensation and titling is based on experience:
Sn. Project Accountant - The range is between $120k - $155k base + discretionary bonus
Project Accountant.- The range is between $90k - $120k base + discretionary bonus
The role will cover:
AIA Billing, WIP (Work in Progress)
AP/AR
Working directly with the PM
Payments to sub-contractors
Working on the month end close
Bank reconciliations, journal entries
Who are you?
Preference is someone coming out a large and complex Construction Mgmt. or General Contractor
Experience with Procore is +
Experience as a Project Accountant
Experience with high volume of transactions
Highly proficient in Excel (Pivot tables etc.)
A minimum of a BA/BS in Accounting from a top accredited school
4+ years of experience.
Exceptional communications skills are required. A great dynamic personality and the ability to work along your fellow colleagues is crucial. He or she must be able to effectively collaborate with individuals both inside and outside the company.
