Job Description: Design and develop advanced cloud-native systems to extract, transform and clean data for complex analytics and predictive models. Create automated data flows with data engineering best practices, transparency, and scalability. Maintain and enhance existing workflows and applications. Solve complex business questions where situations or data require in-depth evaluation of variable factors. Collaborate with data engineers, data scientists, software engineers, business leaders and other partners to implement data engineering solutions based on our priorities and technology initiatives. Document and present work to all levels of technical and non-technical audiences. Telecommuting permitted. Job Requirements: Bachelors or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science, Electronics Engineering or in related field and 11 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or in a computer-related occupation. Special Requirements: Position requires experience, knowledge or coursework in each of the following skills: 1. Modern data architecture, data science engineering, data modeling and data quality using Amazon Web Services;2. Python or similar programming languages;3. Cloud-native data warehouse technologies in Snowflake;4. Modern ETL and data pipeline technologies in kafka and flink;5. CICD and other automation technologies and services in GoCD, GitHub Actions and Travis; and6. Modern software engineering practices and tools including Git and other SCM tools and Agile and similar methodologies. Employment and background checks may be required.
