Neuberger Berman Senior Program Manager / Business Analyst in New York, New York
The Senior Program Manager / Business Analyst will serve as a strategic leader and subject matter expert in driving large-scale, data-driven transformation across Asset Management. This role goes beyond project execution — it demands the ability to shape program strategy, influence senior stakeholders, and architect scalable solutions that align data capabilities with long-term business objectives.

Primary Responsibilities:
Strategic Program Leadership
Own and drive the end-to-end strategy, execution, and delivery of enterprise-scale data-driven programs across investment management and operations
Define program vision, structure multi-workstream initiatives, and establish governance frameworks that ensure consistent delivery across cross-functional teams
Anticipate and resolve complex program risks and interdependencies; make independent decisions on scope, prioritization, and resource trade-offs
Champion adoption of program management best practices and continuous improvement across the Data & Technology organization
Build and maintain trusted relationships with senior leadership across business, technology, and data functions
Lead steering committee presentations, executive briefings, status updates with confidence and clarity
Proactively manage stakeholder expectations, navigate organizational complexity, and drive alignment across competing priorities
Act as a senior escalation point for program issues, facilitating resolution across business and technology leadership
Senior Business Analysis & Process Transformation
Lead discovery engagements with senior stakeholders to surface strategic business challenges and define transformational solutions
Architect current-state and future-state process models for complex, end-to-end asset management workflows spanning portfolio management, order management, risk, and client reporting
Drive requirements definition for large, ambiguous initiatives — decomposing strategic objectives into actionable workstreams, epics, and user stories
Serve as a subject matter authority on how data flows, integrates, and creates value across the investment lifecycle
Influence data strategy and platform decisions, contributing domain expertise to long-term technology and data roadmap planning
Skills & Qualifications:
BS or BA degree with 8+ years of progressive experience in business analysis and program management, with significant tenure in asset management or a related financial services environment
Proven track record delivering large-scale, enterprise-wide data and technology programs with high organizational complexity
Deep expertise with financial market data, including security master, benchmark, corporate actions, and reference data
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Visio, and PowerPoint; strong command of project and process documentation standards
Exceptional communication skills — able to translate complex technical and data topics for senior business audiences and vice versa

Compensation Details
The salary range for this role is $150,000-$170,000. This is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the range may be modified in the future. This range is only applicable for jobs to be performed in the job posting location. An employee’s pay position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, business sector, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, market benchmarking data, any collective bargaining agreements, and business or organizational needs. This job is also eligible for a discretionary bonus, which, along with base salary and retirement contributions, is part of our total comprehensive package. We offer a comprehensive package of benefits including paid time off, medical/dental/vision insurance, retirement, life insurance and other benefits to eligible employees.
