About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Lead Technology Business Systems Consultant in technology as part of Commercial and Corporate & Investment Banking Technology (CCIBT). This is a highly visible role responsible for ensuring high-quality, consistent production service delivery across critical CIB systems. The role requires strong face-to-face engagement with Front Office and senior stakeholders, with a focus on ITIL-based best practices, service stability, and operational excellence. This leader will manage strategic CIB programs, including low-latency and co-located environments, infrastructure standardization, patch management, and application migrations. The position also oversees vendor engagement, data center readiness, and global follow-the-sun coverage, while tracking and reporting monthly stability metrics. A solid understanding of one or more core CIB businesses such as Rates, Credit, Equities, FX etc is essential to drive effective outcomes.

In this role, you will:

  • Lead complex and unique initiatives to provide technological solutions with broad impact for cross functional businesses and technology teams

  • Act as an advisory to senior leadership, with strategic business solutions to companywide technology initiatives

  • Evaluate highly complex business problems and provide subject matter knowledge proficiency for technology initiatives

  • Understand and ensure compliance and risk management requirements for supported area and work with other stakeholders to implement key risk initiatives

  • Make decisions regularly for highly complex and multifaceted situations requiring solid understanding of domain and technology applications, and which influence companywide technology solutions

  • Collaborate and consult with business and technology teams to provide comprehensive technological solutions for highly complex business problems

  • Provide guidance and mentorship to individuals at all levels and provide advice to senior leadership on highly complex and strategic issues

  • Ensure communication and information flow between business and technology teams

Required Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of Business Systems Data and Business Systems Designing experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

  • 6+ years of experience with either service management tools (e.g., Service Now, BMC Remedy, HP Service Center,Incident, and Task workflows)

  • 4+ years of experience in production management or platform operations in Capital Markets

  • 4+ years of experience with trading systems, prime brokerage, fx, risk, market data, order management, and post-trade processing.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Experience with Trading Infrastructure and ecosystems

  • Experience in managing and reporting large programs of work in this space

  • Technical background in all aspects of Platform/SRE responsibilities

  • Strong understanding of Incident vs. Problem Management

  • Identify systemic issues and recurring failure patterns across incidents and problems

  • Lead or coordinate improvement projects that reduce incident recurrence, improve resilience, and close control gaps

  • Track delivery of remediation tasks and improvement actions through to completion, escalating blockers where required

  • Contribute to governance forums and advisory councils focused on Incident and Problem Management trends and outcomes

  • Communicate clearly with senior stakeholders on issue impact, progress, and outcomes

  • Build strong working relationships with platform leads, service owners, and operational teams

  • Contribute to management reporting and dashboards that highlight operational risk and improvement progress

Pay Range

Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to demonstrated examples of prior performance, skills, experience, or work location. Employees may also be eligible for incentive opportunities.

$167,000.00 - $260,000.00
