Insight Global Senior Manager, Regulatory Affairs – Cosmetics (Global) in New York, New York

Role Overview

A global beauty and personal care company is seeking a Senior Manager of Global Regulatory Affairs – Cosmetics to lead international product registrations and regulatory compliance across a broad global footprint. This individual will act as the primary regulatory lead for global cosmetic registrations, partnering closely with internal product, R&D, legal, and sustainability teams to support filings in 50+ countries.

This is a net-new, full-time position and a key hire as the Regulatory & Safety organization continues to scale.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

Lead global cosmetic product registrations across North America, EMEA, APAC, and LATAM markets

Own and manage international regulatory filings and documentation, ensuring accurate, timely, and compliant submissions

Serve as the primary regulatory partner to Product Development, R&D, Marketing, Legal, and Supply Chain on global launches

Oversee review and approval of product documentation, including:

Formulation assessments

Labeling and artwork compliance

Claims and product positioning support

Raw material documentation

Support and guide individuals responsible for country-specific filings, ensuring consistency across markets

Interpret and apply global cosmetic regulations, including state, federal, and international requirements

Partner on sustainability and environmental compliance initiatives tied to cosmetic regulations

Monitor regulatory changes worldwide and proactively assess impact to current and future products

Help build, refine, and scale global regulatory processes, documentation standards, and best practices

Skills and Requirements

5-7 years of regulatory affairs experience within the cosmetics or personal care industry

Hands-on experience leading global cosmetic registrations across multiple international markets

Strong working knowledge of:

Global cosmetic regulations

Ingredient compliance

Labeling and artwork requirements

Proven ability to collaborate cross-functionally in a fast-paced, product-driven environment

Experience managing or overseeing international regulatory documentation and submissions

Highly organized with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities Experience supporting registrations across 50+ countries

Prior leadership or mentorship experience within a regulatory function

Exposure to sustainability, environmental, or ESG-related regulatory initiatives

Experience helping build or scale a global regulatory affairs program

Familiarity with both U.S. (state/federal) and international cosmetic regulatory frameworks

Background in a high-growth, consumer beauty or personal care brand
