IQVIA Senior Director, Solution and Delivery Lead, Real World Evidence Solutions in New York, New York
Role Overview
The Solution Delivery Lead (SDL) Senior Director will serve as a strategic and scientific leader for Real World Evidence (RWE) Solutions, with accountability for driving revenue growth, shaping client strategy, and ensuring delivery excellence across complex, multi‑offering engagements.
This role acts as a senior subject matter expert and leader for RWE opportunities, partnering closely with clients and internal teams to deliver high‑impact, tailored solutions. The primary focus will be on External Comparator Studies, Evidence Platforms, Integrated Evidence Strategy, and Multi‑Country Real World Database studies, with the opportunity to further expand offerings into the clinical development space, including pragmatic studies and real‑world extension studies.
About the Solution and Delivery Team
Forms the core of RWE account teams responsible for sales, solutioning, and project management across the RWE book of work with global and regional headquarters and U.S. affiliate life sciences clients.
Drives revenue and margin growth in RWE generation in partnership with global Evidence Generation teams.
Drives sales growth with these customers by acting as a method- and RWE‑offering‑agnostic face of One IQVIA to address current RWE needs; executing systematic early engagement with client asset teams expected to advance toward commercialization and generate downstream RWE demand; and building and maintaining strong relationships with core client RWE stakeholders, including Clinical Operations, RWE, and Medical Affairs.
Builds and maintains strong connectivity with other IQVIA stakeholders to bring the full breadth of IQVIA capabilities to clients.
Key Responsibilities
Lead RWE solution strategy, sales, and delivery oversight for complex, multi‑offering RWE engagements.
Drive RWE sales and revenue growth within key accounts while systematically identifying and advancing cross‑selling opportunities.
Build and sustain senior‑level headquarters client relationships beyond active engagements to support early positioning and pipeline development for priority assets.
Ensure high‑quality, profitable delivery of paid projects, using delivery ownership to build long‑term client trust.
Apply deep knowledge of the IQVIA RWE portfolio to design integrated, client‑specific solutions.
Mobilize the IQVIA expert network to deliver best‑in‑class solution design and execution.
Lead the development of customized proposals aligned with client evidence needs and decision‑making priorities.
Core Competencies
Strong executive‑level stakeholder engagement across Medical Affairs, RWE, HEOR, Epidemiology, Safety, Market Access, and Commercial teams.
Recognized RWE thought leader with experience across multiple RWE methodologies and study types.
Strategic mindset with the ability to anticipate risks, identify opportunities, and shape solutions that align evidence generation with medical and commercial strategy.
Highly collaborative leader with a consultative client approach and proven internal influence.
Strong people leadership and execution focus, translating strategy into delivery through cross‑functional teams.
Qualifications
Master’s or PhD in a scientific discipline (e.g., life sciences, epidemiology, public health, biostatistics, or a related field).
10+ years of experience in Real World Evidence, specifically External Comparator Studies, Evidence Platforms, Integrated Evidence Strategy, Multi‑Country Real World Database studies, pragmatic studies, and real‑world extension studies.
Proven track record of meeting/exceeding revenue target.

The potential base pay range for this role, when annualized, is $163,100.00 - $453,700.00. The actual base pay offered may vary based on a number of factors including job-related qualifications such as knowledge, skills, education, and experience; location; and/or schedule (full or part-time). Dependent on the position offered, incentive plans, bonuses, and/or other forms of compensation may be offered, in addition to a range of health and welfare and/or other benefits.
