Job Description: Partner with key stakeholder functions, including product, delivery, data science, engineering, partnerships, and biostatistics to provide data engineering support. Document and present work to all levels of technical and non-technical audiences. Collaborate with all levels of data science engineering technology personnel and senior leadership. Create rigorous, high-quality insights from data at scale. Work across matrixed delivery landscape which includes and is not limited to Agile Applications Development, Support, and Deployment. Design and implement secure data pipelines into a Snowflake data warehouse from on previse and cloud data sources. Guide and review of-shore development team work, providing coaching and coding feedback aligning to best practices set by the Data Science Engineering team. Data analysis, insight generation, and manipulation of structured and unstructured data sources. Telecommuting permitted. Job Requirements: Bachelors or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science, Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Data Science or in related field and 5 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or in an engineer, scientist, analyst-related occupation. Special Requirements: Position requires experience, knowledge or coursework in each of the following skills: 1. Cloud-native data warehouse technologies in Snowflake;2. Modern data architecture, data science engineering, data modeling and data quality using cloud computing technologies (AWS); 3. ETL, orchestrated data pipelines and CICD technologies including Python, SQL and Git in a cloud setting;4. Documenting and presenting work to all levels of technical and non-technical audiences;5. Clinical trial data; and 6. Collaborating with global teams to provide coaching and coding feedback aligning to develop best practices. Employment and background checks may be required.
