Sullivan & Cromwell LLP seeks Senior Associate, Litigation, in New York, NY under supervision of partners: as a member of the Litigation Practice Group, under the supervision of partners, oversee case management, identify legal issues and strategies, and supervise associates working on complex government and internal investigations and commercial litigation and international commercial disputes, including those involving multiple claims, multiple parties, differing applicable laws, and multiple jurisdictions.
Requirements: J.D. or foreign equivalent in the job offered or related occupation and four (4) years of experience at an international law firm: working on government and internal investigations and international commercial litigation involving multiple claims and parties and researching and drafting legal memoranda; identifying legal issues within complex, multi-party disputes; preparing presentations to government agencies and regulatory bodies; conducting witness interviews; working with experts and expert witnesses, including preparation of expert reports, depositions, and trial testimony; and assisting in the preparation of witness interview outlines, direct and cross-examination outlines and exhibits in investigations and civil litigation. Must be admitted to practice of law in the State of New York. Telecommuting and/or working from home may be permissible pursuant to company policies. When not telecommuting, must report to work site.
Offered salary is between $365,000 and $435,000 per year. 40 hours per week.
