Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.

  • 8 years of experience in product management or related technical role.

  • 5 years of experience taking technical products from conception to launch (e.g., ideation to execution, end-to-end, 0 to 1, etc.).

  • Experience developing or launching products or technologies within Artificial Intelligence or Machine Learning (AI/ML).

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience in defining and developing products to meet complex and unarticulated but desired customer needs from inception/vision to launch.

  • Experience developing technical roadmaps and plans to implement end-to-end solutions, and effective communication of the roadmap to cross-functional stakeholders.

  • Excellent problem-solving, organizational, analytical and influencing skills, with proven ability for thought leadership and building strong and productive relationships.

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, including ability to articulate well on different levels of abstraction - from technical to executive and from internal to external stakeholders (e.g., customers, KOFs, regulators, etc.).

Our team works closely with creative engineers, designers, marketers, etc. to help design and develop technologies that improve access to the world's information. We're responsible for guiding products throughout the execution cycle, focusing specifically on analyzing, positioning, packaging, promoting, and tailoring our solutions to our users.

The Privacy, Sovereignty & Compliance team lives within the Google Cloud product area, and is part of the Google Workspace organization. Workspace, is a cloud-based productivity suite that is revolutionizing the way people communicate and collaborate with one another. Serving over 2 billion active users across the globe, our team is focused on delivering the tools that shape people’s productivity experience at work, home and school. The Privacy, Sovereignty & Compliance team builds products that our customers/users of all sizes rely on to safely and securely use Workspace.

As the Product Manager you will have an outsized impact on the future of Workspace, ensuring that our productivity suite meets or exceeds customer expectations in adhering to industry and country specific regulatory frameworks.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $192,000-$278,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Work on the next generation of data regions, defining a clear product vision and long-term plan for regionalization as default.

  • Drive regionalization requirements for our suite of Generative AI products and collaborate across teams and product areas.

  • Drive a go-to-market plan, speaking with customers and regulators to make sure Google is perceived as a compliance leader.

  • Build relationships with engineering, UX, legal, marketing, and numerous other teams.

  • Brainstorm exciting new features, including advanced reporting, alerting, and auditing for our customers.
