Jacobs Office Engineer (project site - Bronx, NY) in New York, New York
Assist with the construction documents, RFIs, change orders, correspondences, and supporting the office and field staff as needed
Coordinating with Office and Field Staff, Project Manager, and Contractor to ensure efficient and effective quality audits
Exercises sound judgment in the interpretation of standards, procedures, and criteria
Assist with scheduling distributing inspection reports, and tracking project deficiencies
Assist with distributing and filing safety inspection reports
Assist with processing of change and field orders
Assist with numerous administrative tasks such as scheduling pre-award meetings, project file auditing, supply requests, personnel files, and other ad-hoc tasks
Various ad-hoc tasks such as construction technical research and project document review
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Construction Management is preferred
Substantial years of professional experience working on NYSDOT projects as an Office Engineer
Proficient in basic computer skills utilizing Windows/Outlook/Word/Excel and scheduling applications
