Creative Circle Marketing Data & Analytics Manager in NEW YORK, New York

Our client, a large arbitration company, is looking for a freelance Marketing Data & Analytics Manager to join their team on a freelance basis with the possibility of converting to full time. This person will freelance for 6-9+ months with the potential to convert full-time. This person will be expected to go onsite 1 day/month in their Manhattan office. As the Marketing Data & Analytics Manager, you will own the strategy, structure, and quality of all marketing and growth data. The Marketing Data & Analytics Program Manager will be focused on defining how data will be tracked, modeled, and interpreted across the business. The Marketing Data & Analytics Program Manager will be serving as the connective tissue between the Marketing, Product, RevOps, Analytics, and Engineering teams.The Marketing Data & Analytics Manager will be responsible for: - defining event taxonomy, naming conventions, and KPI aligned tracking plans- owning the Google Tag Manager architecture and governance- defining GA4 events, parameters, and conversions- QA tracking and collaborating with engineering to resolve issues as needed- defining lifecycle stages, funnel logic, and attribution methodology- designing data flows between Salesforce, marketing platforms, and analytics- establishing field mappings, data standards, and overall data quality rules- partnering with RevOps and Marketing Ops to maintain data hygiene- translating stakeholder questions into structured data requirements- defining source of truth KPIs and reporting logic- partnering with Analytics to ensure dashboards reflect accurate data- identifying discrepancies between reported metrics and actual business behavior- serving as the primary point of contact for all tracking and data requests- prioritizing instrumentation and integration work based on business impact- producing clear technical specifications and documentation.- managing cross team dependencies across Marketing, Product, Data, and Engineering.REQUIREMENTS: - 4+ years working in data product, analytics, growth, or marketing operations- strong experience working in Google Tag Manager- strong knowledge of GA4 and debugging as well as defining API integrations and data flows- working knowledge of Salesforce data structures and lifecycle / attribution models as well as reading and writing SQL- strong documentation and communication skills - able to push back on ineffective tracking ideas as neededIn this position, you may have access to client or customer systems, confidential and/or proprietary information or data.
