This role is ideal for someone passionate about digital personalization, customer-centric marketing, and applying AI/GenAI to elevate digital experiences in a competitive landscape.
Key Responsibilities:

Own end-to-end analyses focused on audience segmentation, behavioral modeling, journey orchestration, funnel optimization, and incremental impact measurement.
Build and enhance predictive and prescriptive models (e.g., propensity, next-best-offer, eligibility prioritization, uplift modeling) leveraging AMEX’s first-party data and digital behavioral signals.
Design and evaluate experimentation strategies (A/B, multivariate, holdout testing) to measure personalization effectiveness and drive continuous optimization.
Drive investment optimization by quantifying incremental lift, ROI, and trade-offs across competing on-site experiences.
Partner closely with Digital Product, Engineering, Marketing, and Data Science teams to ensure seamless deployment and scalability of personalization solutions.
Translate complex analytical insights into clear, strategic recommendations for senior leaders and stakeholders.
Champion innovation by introducing advanced modeling techniques, real-time decisioning strategies, and GenAI-powered personalization use cases.

Strong analytical and conceptual problem-solving skills, with the ability to structure ambiguous business challenges and communicate insights succinctly to senior leaders.
Hands-on experience building ML models (e.g., XGBoost, clustering techniques such as K-Means, classification/regression models) with proficiency in SQL, Python, or similar tools.
Experience in experimentation design and performance measurement frameworks.
Proven ability to collaborate across cross-functional teams and influence decisions through data-driven storytelling.
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
