Job Description
Insight Global is looking for a Linux Storage Systems Administrator to join one of our largest healthcare clients in New York City. They will be assisting with the migration from EMC storage solutions to the Pure Storage solution. We need someone well-versed in the Linux Red Hat system who understands how a storage migration will affect that OS. We need someone who has at least 3 years of experience. This is 100% remote opportunity but must work the hours of 9am-5pm EST and be flexible as needed for change management initiatives.

Skills and Requirements
• 3–5 years of Linux/UNIX System Administration experience (RHEL, Oracle Linux, etc.)
• 2–3 years of hands-on experience with enterprise storage platforms (preferably Pure Storage or similar SAN environments)
• Strong proficiency with Native MPIO (Multipath I/O) configuration and troubleshooting on Linux
• 2–3 years of experience performing storage migrations (LUN provisioning, data migration, cutover, validation)
• Experience with storage snapshots, clones, and replication technologies for backup and recovery use cases
• Solid understanding of block storage concepts (LUNs, zoning, masking, multipathing, I/O tuning)
• 2–3 years of experience working in VMware/ESXi environments (datastore management, storage integration)
• Experience with filesystem and volume management (LVM, XFS, EXT4, resizing, mounts)
• Familiarity with automation tools such as Ansible for basic orchestration (playbook execution, integration)
• 1–2 years of experience with Git/version control
• Strong troubleshooting skills across Linux, storage, and virtualization layers
