ConEdison Interconnections Associate Planning Engineer, STO Transmission Planning in New York, New York
Required Education/Experience
- Bachelor's Degree Engineering and Two years of fulltime work experience, including at least one year of engineering work involving the planning, design, or operation of the bulk electric transmission system.
Preferred Education/Experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or Power Engineering and Two years of fulltime work experience, including at least one year of engineering work involving the planning, design, or operation of the bulk electric transmission system.
Relevant Work Experience
Exposed to the design and /or operation of the electric power system, required.
Capable of using PSS/E, TARA, Aspen or equivalent power system simulation programs, required.
Licenses and Certifications
- Driver's License Required
Additional Physical Demands
- The selected candidate will be assigned a System Emergency Assignment (i.e., an emergency response role) and will be expected to work non-business hours during emergencies, which may include nights, weekends, and holidays.
