Minimum qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
10 years of experience in management consulting, sales operations, business strategy, investment banking, venture capital, private equity, or corporate advisory role.
5 years of experience working with executive stakeholders.
Preferred qualifications:
MBA or Master's degree.
4 years of experience in people management.
Knowledge of Google’s Ads products, sales teams, or service operations, and the customer and engaged contexts in which they operate.
Expertise in systems thinking, pattern recognition, and designing improvements for complex internal systems and processes.
Ability to manage executive stakeholder relationships and effectively facilitate complex meetings across multiple functions.
Excellent problem-solving, investigative, and communication skills with the ability to manage large-scale, global efforts with multiple partner teams.
About the job
As the Head of Strategy and Operations, gTech Ads Product, you will drive the long-term goal and strategy for gTech Ads product enablement to maximize customer experience and customer growth, driving operational efficiencies. Leading a high-performing team of Strategy and Operations professionals, you will act as a strategic partner to the gTech ads enablement leadership.
The Go-to-Market Operations (GtM) team ensures Google's complex and ever-evolving Ads business runs smoothly. We are instrumental in setting go-to-market strategy, and ensuring flawless execution and operations against the strategy. We have teams embedded in each of the major Ads business areas as well as global teams that work across the business areas. Team members are analytical and strategic, with a pragmatic sense of how to get things done.
The US base salary range for this full-time position is $234,000-$326,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities
Drive long-term goal and strategy for gTech Ads Product Enablement, focusing on driving customer experience, customer growth and operational efficiency.
Lead strategic projects that are operationally intensive and cross-functional to ensure there is structure and timely delivery of project goals.
Establish Key Performance Indicators (KPI) and timelines for each project, regular metrics reporting, that tie back to strategic goals, and post-implementation impact analysis.
Develop best practices, templates, and tools specific to each strategic domain that can be utilized for future initiatives. Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to identify key strategic questions and translate long-term goals and strategy into defined projects.
Lead a high-performing team to deliver on all strategic and operational priorities.
